Since 1988, we design solutions and innovations in the refrigeration industry

Italian roots,global vision
TECO is an Italian family-owned company that has transformed a strong technical heritage into global leadership. While the company was officially founded in 1988, our story in refrigeration began in the 1950s with Alberto Turci Visini and the first solutions for fish preservation.
Today, guided by the experience and vision of the Turci family, TECO stands as an international reference in the refrigeration industry. We combine the attention to detail typical of Made in Italy with a production capability designed to serve the most demanding markets, always keeping energy efficiency and environmental responsibility at the core.
Our Story
1950 - 1960
Origins
Ezio and Bruno Turci join the family business, already focused on cooling technologies. Later, they start their own company and produce DC refrigerators for boats and caravans, along with chillers and portable cooling units.
1950 - 1960
1970 - 1980
Innovation
In 1970, the team launches INDEL and keeps developing solutions for boats and caravans. INDEL also reaches major milestones, including an orbital refrigeration system for NASA’s Challenger and Columbia space shuttles.
1988
Vision
After selling INDEL to the Berloni Group, Ezio and Bruno Turci team up with Stelio Bubani and launch TECO. They focus on products for the commercial sector and aquariology from the very beginning.

Growth
TECO moves into the retail sector after building a strong position in Ho.re.ca and filing its first patent for foodservice monoblock units already in 2001.

The story continues
TECO keeps growing and keeps innovating, with a clear commitment to developing new, certified products and solutions in its four different divisions.
Cross-sector engineering, dedicated solutions
We design and manufacture high-performance refrigeration units, where every component is selected to ensure consistency and long-term reliability. Our strength lies in the ability to apply advanced engineering across specialized divisions: Ho.Re.Ca., hydroponics, and aquariology. Whether supporting the growth of a delicate ecosystem or ensuring the cold chain in professional environments, our approach is built on premium materials, rigorous individual testing, and plug-and-play design solutions that simplify installation and use. At TECO, innovation is always driven by real-world applications.

Concrete sustainability: efficiency that looks ahead
Environmental responsibility has long been a core pillar of our engineering approach. We were among the early adopters of R290 propane, a natural refrigerant with an extremely low climate impact, which we have been using for years, well before it became a market standard. Thanks to advanced technologies, TECO units deliver high energy efficiency, resulting in reduced consumption and tangible cost savings for the end user. We go beyond statements: with over 460 MWh of clean energy generated and more than 217 tons of CO₂ saved, we turn innovation into measurable environmental benefits every day.
