This year, for our team building, we chose to do something special: bring the TECO team onto a rugby field.
The idea came naturally, combining the desire to share an experience outside our usual routine with a passion that has always been close to our company. Massimo, owner of TECO, knows this sport well and deeply understands the values behind it. That is how the idea was born: to create a day together with Romagna Rugby, Ravenna Rugby and Passatelli, turning the field into a place for connection, sharing and fun.
It was a day designed to experience, outside our everyday work environment, some of the values we know well in our professional life too: collaboration, responsibility, trust and team spirit.
Rugby was the common thread of the experience. It is a sport where no one truly moves forward alone, and where every action depends on the ability to listen, support your teammates and read what is happening around you. On the field, everyone has a role, but results only come when the whole team moves in the same direction.
Even moving forward by just one meter matters, when that meter helps reach a shared goal. This is a dynamic that feels very close to the way we work. At TECO, every project grows from the exchange between different people, skills and experiences. In our offices, production departments and daily activities, the best results come when everyone brings their own contribution and knows they can count on others.
That is why we truly believe in the value of relationships. Not as an abstract idea, but as a real part of company life. Getting to know each other better, spending time together outside of work and creating opportunities for exchange helps build a stronger, more open and more authentic environment.
The day ended with the traditional third half, one of the most representative and enjoyable moments in rugby culture. A chance to spend time together beyond professional roles, strengthening the connections that turn a group of people into a real team.
